Jigsaw Day Nursery is registered for the ECCE Government Pre School Scheme which provides a free pre-school year for children in the year before they start primary school.
The scheme commenced in Jan 2010. The next enrolments will be for September 2010 and all children, who DOB falls between the 2nd February 2006 and 30 June 2007, will be eligible to register for September 2010. As spaces are limited advance booking is advised in order to avoid disappointment.
In order to deliver our Programme we place great emphasis on the quality of the staff who work with your children. Each of the pre-school rooms has Montessori teachers who are assisted by staff that are familiar with the Montessori curriculum. Our staff are professionally trained to care, nurture and encourage your children to help them gain a sense of achievement and pride in this all-important Preschool year as they develop the necessary skills to enable their smooth integration into mainstream school.
The Office of the Minister of Children and Youth Affairs is introducing a new childcare support scheme, the Childcare Education and Training Support (CETS) scheme, from Sept 2010. The CETS scheme will support the childcare needs of participants in training and educational courses operated by FAS & Vocation Education Committees (VECs).
